Freedom
The message of pre-marital sexual abstinence communicated to the youth of today is perhaps the most freeing lifestyle one can experience. This is why I am a member of the character-based abstinence training organization Project S.O.S. We are all about freedom!
When a student chooses an abstinence lifestyle they are free to focus on their dreams and goals - academically, athletically, and professionally. They are free of the fear of getting an STD (sexually transmitted disease) or unwanted pregnancy; free of disappointing their parents; free to improve the chances of a healthy marriage; and free to raise their own children in a healthy, long-term relationship. These are the freedoms we share with students in the First Coast. We believe these freedom consequences are good for our youth. I know this is my hope for my own teenager.
