Thanks to all who made the opening night of The SoapBox possible. We had a very receptive and enthusiastic crowd to compliment our two very knowledgeable and articulate invited speakers, Tom Wright & Allen Buckley. Chris Cave was in usual form by keeping the show moving with his clever segways and many colorful witticisms.
The highlight of the evening, as intended, was the voice “of the people” as audience members literally took their comments and questions to the box. It was heated, it was informative and it was fun!
With the positive feedback received from those in attendance, The SoapBox will be adding to the show format over the coming weeks and making improvements to achieve even more successful SoapBox productions going forward.
A decision has been made to move the next show to after the first of the year. So if you are interested in an entertaining night of debate and discussion on controversial issues, then please mark your calendars for Tuesday, January 16th for the “The Iraq War Debate” and February 6th for the "Drug War Debate"
