Thank you for your well thought out and articulate appraisal of this situation. I applaud you -and- those like you who do understand the facts of the matter.

We have allowed this to happens to us (as have our parents and grandparents) by our apathy, ignorance and outright laziness. We trust jackals with our Liberty and then believe their lies when justify it. Shame on those of us who refuse to stand up for the Founders dream of individual liberty and individual responsibility!

I for one am inspired by people like Larken Rose and Dick Simkanin, Joe Bannister and Vernie Kuglin and of course, Dr. Tom Clayton. They are the 'Son's of Liberty' in this new era of the American Revolution.

Forums like this give fuel to our efforts and indicate that we are making progress in educating our neighbors and awakening them from their slumber. It is good to see: America will be free as long we persist, support and DO!

And a second thought; voting NONE OF THE ABOVE? Just vote LIBERTARIAN in every election. LBT candidates may not get elected just yet, but it does send a powerful message to the entrenched Republicrats that more and more people are fed up with them. This next Presidential election calls for support of Dr. Ron Paul, our Libertarian brother cloaked as a Republican. We need him! He need us and our support. Together we can restore our Constitutional Republic.

Corporate employers, who force all their employees to sign up for a Social Security Number, and then to sign up for withholding, and fire those who don't, and who insist on participating in government surveillance of everyone's finances on top of withholding, benefit from the income tax.

Well, either they benefit, or they are bowing down to extortion, otherwise why would they do all those things?

I think everyone is missing the point. Larken Rose hit the nail on the head. No one in the US Government cares if the IRS is “fair” or even “legal”. When you are dealing with a despotic entity, the entity will do whatever it pleases. Besides, look at all the people that benefit from the income tax. H & R Block. Tax Attorneys, CPAs, entities that say they can “help” you with your “IRS problems”. The list is endless. Also, do you think that the Federal Reserve Board is going relinquish their control of our money? The IRS and US Government support the income tax. The Federal Reserve Board support the income tax. The people that benefit from the income tax support the income tax. The majority of American residents and citizens are duped into supporting the income tax. The intelligent and courageous people like Larken Rose, Irvin Schiff, Richard Simkinen, We the People Foundation, and thousands of others that use their brain and courage to change an evil system will not be able to succeed without the help of the American Sheeple. American companies and corporations have to stand up to the IRS and say “NO I’m not withholding my employees money until you show me the law that applies to me directly to withhold the money. Americans from all walks of life will have to draw the courage from themselves to change this evil, demonic, and despotic system. It can be done, only with everyone’s courage. Sincerely, David Jewel
